The Cheesecake Factory, Dubai Mall-2nd time

Woohoo, can't get over "The Cheesecake Factory" hype. Me and my 2 bff's from grade school didn't let the day pass without going there - for dinner this time.

While waiting for our order, we were served breads. love the brown - it's soft and yummy! the butter was also good.

then our beverages came:  friendship PO's all-time favorite coca-cola

it's even easier to order coke than water.  when you order water, you'll be asked if still or sparkling. after choosing still, next question would be - small or big. good thing they didn't ask if evian or masafi (a local brand).  if they have a local brand, that could have been the next question.  it happened to me several times (in different restaurants). so i learned my lesson.  to avoid being asked a battery of questions for just a simple order of water - i follow it up with "just give me whatever you want to serve me".

this was my chosen beverage - Factory Hot Chocolate. it's my 1st time ever to be served hot choco in a tall glass and this big  - i was expecting it to be in a cup.  i only finished half.

then our dishes came - can't remember the complete names though

Our Server told us that they are around 90 staff and crew flown in from the US to assist in the opening at Dubai Mall.  Another outlet will open in Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates (MOE).  Then another in Kuwait, Turkey, Puerto Rico, Singapore to name a few.  There will be a total of 20 international outlets scheduled to open and Dubai Mall was the first.

 

We waited for an hour to be seated but the food was worth the wait - they were all good. The portions are big so be ready to share or be prepared to carry bags for the leftovers that can be wrapped to go.
